Week 6 Asana Practice

In this week we shift from a focus on the body to developing mindful awareness of the mind. This is not an easy practice and is supported by the breath and grounding techniques that we have been developing over the last weeks.

It is important to remember we are not trying to get rid of thoughts, but to develop and awareness of habitual patterns of thought and the effect these patterns have on us as they arise.

This week I encourage you to notice 2 common modes of thinking - projecting forwrd to the future or looking back to the past. Again, I encourage you to be curious and compassionate in your approach
