Week 4 Asana Practice

In this week we explore the theme of grounding through our practice. Feeling the solidity of ground beneath us as a resource. We come into awareness of the ground as a way of building body awareness. Developing body awreness is offerred in support of providing respite from rumination and to build our capacity present moment awareness.

Expect your mind to wander! When you have noticed, acknowedge this and then practice coming back to the sensation of the ground beneath your feet or sit bones.

Be patient, building body awarenss takes time. And for some who have experienced challenging bodily expereinces it can feel frightening. Be careful, curious and compassionate with yourself as you practice with this material.
