Last Call for yoga Therapy fo Menopause workshop series- why this might actually be for you!

Dear %FIRSTNAME%

No doubt for a myriad of reasons, I have had fewer sign-ups for this workshop series than I had hoped or imagined. As such, it is hanging in the balance whether it will run.
In case any of you are still wondering if it's for you, I thought I'd offer a run-down of what the course entails and some reasons why, even if you didn't think it was for you, it actually just might be!
January 25th: Overview of stages of menopause and focus on stress and anxiety, and practices to support finding ease
February 22nd: The importance of and practices to support rest
March 29th: Supporting bone health and muscle strength
April 26th: Supporting brain health
May 31st: Supporting pelvic health
June 28th: Self esteem, pleasure and acceptance.
The workshop series includes handouts/ resources and access to a host of pre-recorded audio and video practices for you to work with between sessions.
I am not menopausal yet - or at least I don't think I am?
The late reproductive stage - or early peri-menopause is a period of time when women often notice changes in their experience, but don't necessarily associate these with menopause, as there may be no changes in the menstrual cycle. For me, this time was when sleeplessness hit, and along with it, completely new, but really distressing levels of anxiety. I also found that I was hungover before I reached the end of my first drink! This period can last a number of years, and there is much that we can do to support ourselves through this time of wildly fluctuating hormone levels.
Getting information and supportive practice to women in at this stage in their menopause journey was one of the main reasons I did so much ltraining around menopause.
I am post menopause - it's done! What more is there to know/do?
The post menopause stage of a woman's life comes with many benefits - in my experience, but is also associated with some significant health risks, including increased incidence of cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis and dementia. A truly holistic yoga therapy approach that includes building strength and balance as well as deep relaxation may help reduce the effects of our new hormone profiles on these risk factors.
If this course is of interest to you, but starting in January is not an option - it may be possible to shift the whole course a month later, so start in February and end in July - if this is an option that would be of interest to you, then please be in touch as soon as possible and I could run the possibility past the wonderful women who have already signed up for the series.
I am going to make a decision about whether to run the course based on the definite number of sign-ups at the end of Wednesday, the 21st of January. So Please sign up before then if you are planning to. Knowing that if you do, you are also enabling other midlife women to experience the course!
A 3-part payment plan is available - be in touch to find out more.
Thank you for your attention. You can probably tell I am pretty passionate about the benefits of a yoga therapy approach to meeting the challenges of this transformational time. I would really love to share them with you.
Warmly
Lucie
